EVENTS FOR PEACE

A sia delphi poetry cultural event is in the works for August 11, 2009. The show will take place outside in Center City Philadelphia, include a stage and sound system, and feature 16 poets/musicians/public speakers.

The 2009 outdoor show will feature a guest speaker representing the mothers of murdered children in Philadelphia due to gun violence or other hate crimes against humanity.

The purpose of all sia delphi poetry events is to promote peace, liberty, spirituality, social change and justice and love to all through poetry, music, cultural celebration and communication.

If you are interested in becoming involved through performance, networking or volunteering, please contact JenPoetess via e-mail,
mail@jenpoetess.com or visit the Contact Us page of this Web site. If you are an unknown artist to sia delphi poetry, please send one MP3 recording of a recent performance and your artist statement to mail@jenpoetess.com.

Artists performing nefarious or prejudice messages will not be accepted as performers under any circumstance.

sia delphi poetry hopes to hear from those interested in speaking the truth as they see it; expressing peace; and helping the community through the power of creation and art.
