Love demonstrates spiritual peace. Spiritual peace radiates love.

Elephants cross oceans. Manatees swim to the Gulf's haven. Can not man live in peace with women and children on earth? When will the illusion of war cease? It is a lie doomed to destroy its fallacious nature. Humans need to care for the earth, and love one another with open minds. The understanding of thoughtfulness and compassion brings grace.

Love is peace.

May 7- 2007

What a beautiful time to be here on earth. Still, if today is present and not a temporal space of past, which I believe true, then in every individual existence we are given the power to embrace moral courage with love, dignity and hope while rebuking the nefarious qualms of one's own nemesis. Choice through living processes overcoming struggle; embracing victory; finding endurance; seeking demonstration; learning to speak through actions instead of words.

But when will the violence in the world end if a lie is destined to repeat itself?

We must take the high ground within our own lives first.

Not everyone will choose good; but good does choose us.

So take the easy steps, the ones just ahead along the path called Life. Rejoice and embrace the moral courage that Life offers.

Come what may.

A prayer for peace.

Fear, doubt, dis-ease disappear with the grace of Love.

Nov. 5- 2006

No matter what happens, be understanding. That is hard. In the moment, sometimes emotions overshadow consciousness, but that is never good. Allow your conscience self to shine. Rather your are consciousness, or sleeping, or in another place... still allow your conscience to express the inner grace of life, love, peace, hope, mind, principle and truth of soul.

Nov. 4-200

Today is a beautiful day. The light shines along the eastern seaboard. A magically moment, the freedom of working in a calm way, not for a company, but for the quiet reasons that life calls out to us during a a weekend, or within the now of a single day or an afternoon. A quiet moment. A blessing. A stranger's wish caught in the wind blowing along your skin. What a day. November. What a beautiful day.

Murals in Philly awakens inner-beauty

Oct. 8- 2006

After seeing the one-room school house in Nickel Mines yesterday--- it doesn't make sense that anyone would have chosen to commit such a horrible crime against such an innocent place. God Bless the community and the families of this tragedy.

Oct. 7- 2006

The 10 young girls shot "execution-style" by a 32-year-old milkman, five of whom have died, were protected through prayer from the man's evil intentions of raping and sexually molesting them on the morning of Oct. 2. Though he did shoot them, they were nevertheless protected from what could have been an even more horrible and unimaginable crime against humanity, the robbery of their innocence.

Sept. 28- 2006

Letter to the Philadelphia Inquirer

In response to: "Mostly, a miss on gun control."

Value the living, honor the dead

Philadelphia leaders must stand tall and unite against rural Pennsylvanians who advocate the Second Amendment. Most state representatives cannot comprehend what handguns have done to the streets of Philadelphia.

No one deserves to be the victim of a handgun. No one deserves to be shot in the back.
As many know, handguns have caused enormous grief in Philadelphia and throughout the world. Philadelphia natives, immigrants, students, business owners, children, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, have the right to live in safety and in peace. The grief caused by handguns is terrible, and a hunter's so-called-right to own firearms does not equate to the horrible emotional loss guns cause when someone is murdered. Indeed, this issue is larger than one city, one Commonwealth, or one nation. The issue involves human life and our loved ones. The Second Amendment must be altered.
Specifically, the time has come for Philadelphia to take control of human life's collective destiny. I urge politicians; victims advocates and human rights' activists to continue to march onto Harrisburg and demand that Philadelphia have the legitimate right to "allow Philadelphia to enact its own firearms laws."

Sept. 26- 2006

Tolerance is important. Where is tolerance in much of the world? Where is tolerance in Saudi Arabia? In this country? Tolerance for diverse ideas, humor, philosophy, thought?

Politicians in a representative democracy have some nerve to tell us, citizens, what to think and how.

"The time for thinkers has come"

August 20- 2006

The opposite of fear is trust. This world is a fragile place. The beauty of an open pasture, wild flowers, a deep forest and an August rainbow are testaments of what this world is truly. However, mortal mind seems hell bent on destroying all that is good with screams and terror. Good cannot be destroyed. Evil will never realize this because evil is unconscious and has no conscience. Only good and those who allow good to defeat evil can in the end understand the good fight and the spiritual love that conquers hate.

The hot weather on the east coast rises. Will the heat wave soon break?

July 27- 2006

The nightmare of war continues. A new war. An American day before night. Monday as an adult. I pray for a change of this social place.

July 14- 2006

Israel is bombing Lebanon, and terrorists in southern Lebanon are sending rockets down by Hezbollah. People are kidnapped and killed. Families are displaced. The family of Abraham.

When human beings are treated badly, peace suffers.

"10 steps forward." When at the crossroads of life, walking toward whatever direction lies within, can create real change for the self-seeking solace and grace in a world at war. A world at peace is something to write about, as many authors have since the age of the languages' birth.

Walking down 2nd Street in Old City, Philadelphia last night was quite intense because artists selling their work on the streets were being removed by police, verbally. A permit to sell art? A permit to sing? In many respects, east coast government has become totalitarian.

"10 steps forward," ahead of the j.o.b., ahead of the people who are negative, ahead of the blood hungry developers who destroy wildlife and kill endangered animals... ahead of the politicians and unethical reporters.  Ahead of foolishness, fear, fate. Walking a path that is entirely free--- not by definition or monument--- by instead, the kindest path of freedom, love.

"10 steps forward" for love is peace.

What is anger if not simply another emotion of sense? Anger can be so blinding, so bitter. When it leaves, one is reminded--- all is well, and all has been well. In the end what they say is not true about the world, and all of the garage, war, anger, hatred, is not what makes any of this a life.

May 31- 2006

So many emotions. Very upset by the killings in Iraq, praying each day to a world without war, because that is there is a need for peace, for love to destroy error with kindness, the kind and powerful sword of truth. This world is beautiful, and evil acts will never overcome that beauty, nor will violence replace ever overcome great loves.

So happy to have traveled to the Dominican Republic. Feel great, resisting all levels of stress. In the DR, I was moody at times, but had no stress.

The water was there, to wash away sorrow. When I was upset, or in a mood, I just looked at the ocean, or swam in the ocean, and for me, within seconds EVERYTHING was better, all made sense.

So now, back in America. Production for the newspaper today. Knowing that the little things don't matter, and that is more honorable to keep oneself centered and calm rather then get a lot of work done in vain.

PEACE!

April 19- 2006

I have faith in you.

April 14- 2006

Heading to the Dominican Republic in one week. So excited to leave the country, to explore a world unknown.

April 1- 2006

There is news that Jill Carroll has been freed. Not much more about it two days later on the news. The state of the world, turn off "the" tv.  Get out. Walk. Hear the bird?  He has been in that cage too long. What can be done? Do you see the painting of the moon?

An image of newspapers flattened by postage, second-class mail and in the heart of it. Please don't blame "other people" anymore. Literature will not loose its power; dove, dove, dove.  Hold on to the small, sweet voice of reason. Cherish it. Remember the sun as it rains...  because it shines no matter where one's emotions may be.
